49 Bridge St Row

The Rectory within 49 Bridge Street Row was erected in A.D. 1659 during the Protectorate of Oliver Cromwell and was bequeathed by the then owner Lettice Whitley, daughter of Sir Francis Gamull, Mayor of the City of Chester A.D. 1635 to St. Michael's Parish to augment the stipend of the vicar and his successors in perpetuity.
