St John's Church - Memorial Boards

Inside the church, to the right as you enter, are a set of painted memorial boards. They were mostly produced by four generations of the Holme family, all of them called Randle, who were heraldic artists in Chester. Painted family coats of arms were sometimes displayed on the houses of the deceased before being placed in church.
