The Water Tower

Once upon a time, the River Dee flowed around the city walls. Gradually the Dee silted up and the river changed its' course, moving away from the walls. This caused the Water Tower to be built, so that ships could moor there to unload and let passengers disembark. The Water Tower is joined to Boneswaldethornes Tower by a walkway, and the walkway has a small archway underneath, presumably originally to let the water flow through.
