3D Printing

Want to do some 3D printing? You can either take the file along or email it to Funky Aardvark, or if you want they can design it from scratch for you, from only £25 per hour. I had lost a game piece and they downloaded and printed it for me within an hour.

Festival Church

At the back of Tesco's is a new place to have coffee and cake - and it is inside a church.
Calling itself Festival Church, it is a quiet place to contemplate the day. They have various events there, including a photography group, and another one that plays board games. They are very reasonably priced, and currently have an offer of two coffees for the price of one.

Shot Tower Development

The shot tower development is finally moving along, and the hoardings are up to try to sell the apartments. A great location, but I fear they might be a tad expensive. It will be interesting to see them when they are finished.

Agility At Merlin Dog Training

Carol runs Merlin Dog Training out at Wervin. There are a wide variety of classes and events for dogs, and she is an excellent source of advice for owners with even the most difficult dog. There is a secure paddock for hire, and agility for all levels.

Cherry Blossom

The cherries are in full bloom at the moment, and some of them have the most heavenly scent. The one in the photo is in Kilmorey Park, and I stand underneath and inhale the perfume every time I go past. Catch them soon, before they are gone for another year!

Frodsham Street (or Cow Lane)

Down on Frodsham Street, which used to be known as Cow Lane as it was the main route to the cattle market at Gorse Stacks, the works to improve life for pedestrians finally seem to be drawing to a close. The new street furniture is out, and very nice and solid it looks, too.

Sam's Free Range Hens

Out towards Holywell is Sam's Free Range Hens. The hens live in a small field, along with several cats and rabbits, and Sam will happily sell you eggs (and very good they are too), hen supplies, or even the hens themselves.
